From October 1st, players will get the chance to partake in the Search for Zarude research task. A task in 5 parts which will eventually lead to the chance to catch the rogue monkey Pokémon. We’ll take you through the various tasks to eventually catch Zarude.

The first part of the Search for Zarude research task involves the following:

| Snapshot 3 Ground-type Pokémon | 15 Pokeballs |
| Overall rewards | x250 Stardust, x10 Nanab berries and a Pokémon encounter |

| Make five Great Throws in a row | Five Pinap Berries |
| Catch ten Bug-type Pokemon | Dwebble encounter |
| Take three snapshots of wild Bug-type Pokemon | Ten Great Balls |
Search for Zarude (3/5)
| Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokemon | Sunny Cherrim |
| Catch 30 Grass or Bug-type Pokemon | Vileplume |
| Take three snapshots of wild Grass-type Pokemon | Ten Great Balls |
Search for Zarude (4/5)
| Defeat six Team GO Rocket Grunts | Ariados encounter |
| Catch fifteen Pokemon with Weather Boost | Butterfree encounter |
| Take three snapshots of wild Flying-type Pokemon | Ten Ultra Balls |
Search for Zarude (5/5)
After claiming the final rewards, players will be awarded with 1,000 Stardust, ten Zarude Candies, and an encounter with Zarude itself.
Best Zarude Build
Zarude is a dark / grass type Pokémon.
It is vulnerable to Bug, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Fire, Ice and Fairy moves.
Zarude’s strongest moveset is Vine Whip & Power Whip and it has a Max CP of 3,833.

Shiny Zarude in Pokémon Go
As this is Zarude’s Pokemon Go debut, people might wonder whether there will be a shiny Zarude. Unfortunately, for the time being, there is not a shiny Zarude in-game.
