As you will probably know, the Far Cry series are games packed with a plethora of content. Fetch quest, escort quests and the sheer endless number of bases that need to be taken over.
Far Cry 6 is no different. It features the beautiful island of Yara but as with all Ubisoft games, this island has a series of chores you’re encouraged to do! It wouldn’t be a Ubisoft game otherwise.
That being said, there’s still a story to the games. A thread that the ties the world and setting all together. So there’s a question that you might have on your mind, if you were to do only the story, and no side-quests or projects, how long is Far Cry 6?
Far Cry 6 game length
Far Cry 6 was released in October 2021, the sixth game in the main Far Cry series.
Players are brought to Yara. A tropical paradise frozen in time. The dictator of Yara, Antón Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former gory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution. You get to play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran, and become a guerrilla fighter to liberate the nation.
The game’s length varies on how you’re playing it. If you’re only completing the main story and ignoring all else, it’ll be the fastest playthrough. A more casual player might play for longer, then of course a completionist will have the longest overall playtime. Here’s the average playtime for each of these playstyles.
|Main Story||Main + Extras||Completionist||All styles|
|19 Hours||27 Hours||45 Hours||26 Hours|
